Administration of Urolon™
Urolon is injected under cystoscopic guidance into the submucosa of the urethra (1.0 – 1.5 cm distal to the bladder neck) using the transurethral technique. Multiple injections (2, 6, and 10 o’clock positions) are administered until optimum coaptation is achieved. The gel carrier suspends the PCL particles and allows smooth delivery through the injection needle.

Urolon is a Bioresorbable Urethral Implant, for the treatment of SUI in adult females, whose characteristics provide a dual action; the CMC gel carrier gives an immediate bulking effect and the PCL microspheres offer sustained performance.
